1. Cookies and browser storage
1.1 A cookie is a small text file that a website stores in your browser and receives back each time you visit. Browser storage, known as local storage and session storage, holds similar small items in your browser without sending them to the website.
1.2 The Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (PECR) require consent before a website stores cookies or similar items in your browser. Regulation 6(4) exempts items that are strictly necessary to provide a service you have asked for.
2. Categories used
2.1 The two cookies and the airbrain-rotate-hint
item are strictly necessary to
provide the service you asked for, under regulation 6(4).
2.2 The slideforge- items adapt how a course looks and works
to the settings you choose. PECR Schedule A1, added by the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025, exempts
storage for that purpose from consent. The exemption requires a clear statement of the purpose and a
free way to object. Section 3 states the purpose, and Section 5 explains how to object.
2.3 The site sets no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies.
3. Items this site sets

4. Third-party cookies
4.1 The site sets no third-party cookies. Its fonts, scripts and styles are served from the site itself, and its pages and courses load nothing from other websites.
5. Managing cookies
5.1 You can view and delete cookies and browser storage in your browser's settings. The browser makers' guidance is here:
5.2 If you block the session cookie, you cannot sign in.
If you block the course cookie, your courses do not load.
5.3 To object to the slideforge- items, block or clear site
data for the course address in your browser's settings. Courses still work without them, and start
with their default settings each time.
6. Do Not Track
6.1 The site does not track you. It behaves the same whether or not your browser sends a Do Not Track signal.
7. Changes to this policy
7.1 This policy is updated when the cookies or storage the site uses change. The date at the top of the page shows when it last changed.
